How do you know when it is time to get support?

What payment methods do you accept?
Payment for sessions can be made by cash or by an bank transfer . Details of this will be provided at the time of booking your first session.
What is the duration of a session?
The duration of a session is 50 minutes. We can also schedule an intensive EMDR session. In this case, the session will last 1h20min.
How frequently will I have do attend sessions?
Options are as follows:
- Weekly
- Fortnightly
- Monthly
*It can be adjusted according to the client’s needs.
How does the therapy process work?
All circumstances are different; therefore the number of sessions will vary from person to person. Together we will evaluate the situation and discuss a plan for you.
The number of counselling sessions required may vary and you can at any point decide to withdraw. However, in practice it is found that depending on the severity of the problem, clients usually see progress within the following time frames:
- 1 – 4 sessions
- 1 – 6 sessions
- 1 – 12 Sessions (for more severe cases)
When can confidentiality be breached?
All counselling is confidential subject to the constraints of English law and ethical practice. Your counsellor has a legal duty to report anything to do with terrorism or acts of terror.
If you were to disclose matters involving a serious/life-threatening risk of harm to self or others, they might have to act on it. If something like that came up, they would talk with you about it. Where possible, we would not break confidence without your prior knowledge and, ideally, consent.
